Which is the best teeth whitening option for me?

Friday, September 3rd, 2010
Q.
Hello, I have two options in order to get my teeth whitened; can you please provide me with advice? 1. Go to my local qualified dentist and get trays create and wear those 5 days – £250. 2. Go to a teeth whitening studio that has qualifications in whitening and get the laser treatment for 1 hour – £125. Not sure which is the best option? I would be grateful of any advice. Regards,

I have 2 black spots on my tongue, did the teeth whitening laser burn me?

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010
Q.
Since having my teeth whitening by laser my tongue has increasingly felt hot and I am unable to use mouthwash because it burns. I have now noticed two black spots on my tongue. Do you think this might be due to burning by the Laser?,

I am trying to decide between laser whitening and professional bleaching. Can to give me any advice?

Monday, August 16th, 2010
Q.
Hi Rob, I am trying to decide between having laser whitening with ‘Britesmile’ for £99 (not actually done by a dentist), or professional bleaching with my dentist for £350. Firstly, which has the greater whitening effect, and secondly, are they as safe as each other? Thanks for taking the time to answer my query. Kind regards,

Could I have you opinion on this type of tooth whitening system, as I have never heard of it?

Q.
Hi there, I have booked in to get my teeth whitened in Aug and the dentist I have found said they use some new system called Whi-ten or Whi10 (not sure how its spelt) but I have never heard of it and wonderd if you could give me your opinion on it and inform me of why it only takes 2 x 30min tretments a day to work and not an overnight treatment. Many thanks,

Can I use a tooth whitening pen on my enamel and composite?

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010
Q.
I have some composite on my teeth to smooth out chipped edges. Can I use a tooth whitening pen on my enamel and composite? Will it be safe and effective? I was told I could not use laser whitening because composite cant be whitened and I would end up with 2-coloured teeth. There is a pen which claim to have no peroxide.Could I use that one or another with peroxide?,

Is the home tray whitening the best option?

Friday, April 23rd, 2010
Q.
Hi, I am really confused about teeth whitening. My dentist advised that the home trays for two weeks are a lot better and have stronger results than the laser treatment. I am not sure if they are saying this as they only do the trays or the trays are the better option. Help! Thanks Claire,
