Would Invisalign be able to treat teeth that have relapsed after previous braces treatment?

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010
Q.

I had braces about 4 years ago and lost my retainer, so my bottom teeth have crowded slightly, and I am worried my top teeth may move back to their original postition.
I would like to know if invisalign express would solve my problem, how long this would take, and aprroximately how much this would cost?

Q.

I had a brace when i was younger to straighten my teeth, since one of my wisdom tooth has come through its pushed my front teeth forward and now they are beginning to cross over at the front, its not major, but im worried if my second tooth comes through it will become worse, what would be the best thing i could do to correct this, and make my teeth straight again.

Can I close the gaps in my teeth without resorting to braces?

Thursday, November 18th, 2010
Q.
Hi I had a brace on my top teeth when I was a teenager. They removed my first premolars (I think thats the name, the pointy ones!) The brace was meant to close the gap but was taken off too early and I now have gaps, one on each side. I am an actress and want to close the gaps. I’d prefer to avoid getting a brace again. Is this doable?

Can invisalign braces be fitted to teeth that have a crown fitted?

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010
Q.
Hello. I have a crown on one of my top, central incisors which I have had for about 8 years. I have noticed over the last year or so that my top front teeth are becoming crooked – specifically, the tooth with the crown is moving forward very slightly. I am very unhappy with the effect this has on my smile and wanted to look into Invisalign braces or something similar (something discreet) but my question is whether it would be OK to undergo such treatement with a crown fitted, or whether the braces would cause the crown to break off, rather than realigning it and the remaining tooth underneath. Please advise me. Thank you.,

I am concerned about the method of filing teeth for Invisalign. Can you tell me if it is a safe and necessary option?

Tuesday, November 9th, 2010
Q.
Dear Dr Verma Please can you confirm if “filing” teeth is a good (or only) solution with Invisalign? I do not like the idea as I am afraid that: 1. 0.5mm (recommended in my case on 3 teeth) seems a lot and will weaken my teeth 2. Could look very unattractive if any small mistake is made 3. Seems extremely unpleasant procedure Thanks in advance for your advice. Kind regards. Worried prospective Invisalign patient aged 44 years old,
