My lateral incisors are bigger than central ones, should I have braces again or implants?

Monday, January 31st, 2011
Q.

I am 25 and had train tracks for 6 years and a head brace for a year which I wore for 16 hours a day. My problem is that my lateral incisors are bigger than my central incisors and due to there not being any space grew very far behind giving the aspect of having double central incisors. When I turned 18 my orthodontist told me she had done an experiment that had not worked and sent me packing you would never be able to tell that I have ever had any orthodontic treatment previously. The actual state of my teeth are not in a bad condition they are simply not aligned would I be better off having braces again or pulling out the incisors and having false teeth fitted?

Would getting veneers now affect the chances of me being able to get braces in the future?

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010
Q.

Will veneers have an impact on my chances of having braces installed in the future?

I’d like to even out the appearance of my top incisors with veneers. I’m also considering braces in the future. Will the veneers make it impossible to finish the straightening process of my teeth? I’ve heard mixed news.

If I need to forgo veneers and wait longer but improve the appearance of all my teeth, it may be worth the wait.

Thanks.

Can I get invisible braces fitted if I have incisor protruding and misaligned teeth?

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I have the flowing issues that i’d like to get resolved and as the quality of my teeth is good (I don’t want veneers etc) I wonder if these issues are likely to be able to be fixed using invisble braces? • Upper lateral incisor protruding • Upper First and second bicuspid narrow • Slight (2mm) misalignment between centre of top central incisor and bottom centre of central incisors,

Can invisalign braces be fitted to teeth that have a crown fitted?

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010
Q.
Hello. I have a crown on one of my top, central incisors which I have had for about 8 years. I have noticed over the last year or so that my top front teeth are becoming crooked – specifically, the tooth with the crown is moving forward very slightly. I am very unhappy with the effect this has on my smile and wanted to look into Invisalign braces or something similar (something discreet) but my question is whether it would be OK to undergo such treatement with a crown fitted, or whether the braces would cause the crown to break off, rather than realigning it and the remaining tooth underneath. Please advise me. Thank you.,

My tooth feels a bit loose. Is it caused by build-up on my teeth?

1 year ago I had some build up on my central incisors. Sometimes I feel like they are a bit loose(very little). Is that possible that build-up(mesial sides)could cause that?,

Can anything be done to address my gapped and protruding teeth?

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010
Q.
I am 55 and have gappy protruding teeth. My two front upper teeth are capped and were made larger then the originals and I have a missing tooth on each upper side after the ‘incisors’ they were extracted to fit a brace when I was thirteen. Until I had one of my front teeth replaced with an implanted cap? that is too protruding and large my confidence has waned. Can anything be done,

My teeth are out of proportion with my other teeth, what can I do about this?

Thursday, April 8th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I’m not sure what I can do with my teeth, the teeth between my front teeth and incisors are really smaller in comparison. Also my incisors stick out a bit and make me feel like I have fangs. not very nice. Any ideas?,
