Hello Dr Gambroudes. I am 34 and I’ve been left with no teeth. I am currently wearing a denture but it’s feels like my face is already making me a lot older than what I am I am so down but I have been to a few dentist and they said I would be a perfect fit for dental implants as I have good bone structure but I’m currently on benefits due to back pain is the procedure expensive for upper and lower implants. Hi Andrew. I have been battling periodontal disease for twenty five years and I have been told by my dentist that I should now have dentures for my upper jaw. I don’t think having five children has helped me. I am terrified that I won’t cope as I have a hypersensitive gag reflex. Is there any alternative at all? I have exposed roots and feel self conscious. I have a bridge and crowns across my 6 upper front teeth. I have a lot of bone loss, especially on the top right hand side. Due to neglect my oral hygiene as a child was very poor. I have worked very hard in adulthood to maintain good oral hygiene. I am a 56 year old non smoker.
Hi I have lost all of my teeth over a couple of years ago and i am looking for a more permanent option than the dentures I have can you suggest anything? I would like not to have to remove my dentures what i am looking for is a full set of none removable teeth? I am now too used to not having teeth I find the dentures very uncomfortable. I have five front teeth left on my bottom set with a gap in the middle were two teeth have been removed.
At the moment there is a bottom denture which makes up the rest of the missing teeth. this denture is lose due to gum shrinkage. The five remaining teeth are in poor condition and are very small. My teeth on the top set are complete but are all either crowns or bridges these are in good condition. the bottom five remaining teeth are small and don’t match the top set. what would be the best and most cost effective way to replace the bottom set so that it would match up with the upper teeth. Please give a rough estimate of costs involved or list possible treatments from high to low in cost
