Hi,I’m a very unhappy lady when it comes to my teeth , it sometimes brings me to tears i have never been able to smile for a photo and would love to. Im about to turn 40 and for once im my life would like to smile.My front three teeth are not straight,and seem to be going see through,one has had an rct and is now going grey , can you tell me what can be done and how much it can possible cost . im terrified of the dentist as well. Hello Dr., I read about enamel erosion on front teeth and I believe that this is my case, i have a few yellowish/transparent spots on my 2 front teeth. I read from one of your replies that I can’t restore the color with diet or habit, however what can I do to prevent more erosion and to at least keep it as is. thank you

I started smoking at 14 and my teeth need straightening any my gums are bleeding advice?

Hi and a few years ago i use to smoke alot i started at the age of 14 ive been scared of the dentist now i want to sort my teeth out im 21 years old and im scared to show my self as i dont like my smile, my teeth need straightening but i dunno how to go arround it ive tryed brushing my teeth for 5 months now and my gums still bleed, i have a broken tooth aswell and allways getting things stuck in it, i am signing on and i cant afford anything to get me teeth done i dont know what the nhs has to offer please help i am willing to do anything to me teeth to make them better again

My friend has a severe phobia of needles is there anyone who will use gas these days for sedation

HI, my friend has a serious problem with her teeth, she has been told she needs 10 teeth extracted. She is a private patient and has a severe phobia of needles. Her dentist has referred her to specialists because she won’t have a needle for sedation. She has been told that no-one in the UK will use gas to put her to sleep so that a needle can then be used. She has now been told to go for hypnotherapy to cure her fear of needles. Is there anyone who will use gas these days? She is desperate, she has trouble eating and now even drinking. Thanks

I WILL BE HAVING A APICECTOMY ON FRONT TOOTH. I JUST WATHCH A VIDEO SHOWING THE PROCEDURE AND NOW I REALLY, REALLY WANT SOME FORM OF SEDATION. WHY WOULD MY DENTIST SAY OH, DONT WORRY YOU DONT NEED IT. I DONT THINK I CAN DO THIS WITHOUT THE SEDATION.
