Q.

I have a gummy smile with small teeth .i’ve bee adviced by a dentist to undergo surgery (to reduce maxillary height) but due to many reasons i prefer veneers .So in my case, is it possible to place veneers over gums & would it last long?or should i just go ahead with the surgery?

Is there a treatment to limit upper lip movement to reduce amount of gum that shows when I smile?

Monday, September 20th, 2010
Q.
in addition to gum shaping is there a treatment/procedure to limit the movement of the upper lip area to further reduce the amount of gum shown when smiling? currently, the visible gum area is greater than my teeth when i smile (comparable to a horse) and this has had a serious psychological impact on my life.,

Is there any treatment available to address my gummy smile and my crooked teeth?

Monday, August 23rd, 2010
Q.
I used to have braces until I had them removed last year because it was the end of my treatment. I had had them for five years. Yet I still have one of the worst smiles I think I’ve ever seen. My teeth are a lot straighter than they were before the braces, which I had because I had protruding teeth, but I still have trouble closing my mouth fully and properly because my front teeth are still too far forward, and aren’t completely straight. I also have quite a gummy smile. Is there any treatment that would be suitable and affordable (or on the NHS) so that I can have a nice smile for the first time in my life? Thanks for the help.,
