I had a scale and polish a few days ago and had some plaque removed. Now I can feel a gap between my teeth and my gums where the plaque was. Will this gap go or will I always have it from now on? Thanks

I am 43yrs old and have a massive gap between my two front teeth. There is not a tooth missing it has grown like this as I was never fitted with a brace. The gap is very large now and I never smile because of this. What can be done and how much will it cost?

My dentist said to me to have more space for my bite gap what does she mean about it?

When I was getting measurements for my two front teeth for crowns this week, my dentist measured it twice. She said she wanted me to have more space for my bite gap. what did she mean by this? Does this mean I’ll have a gap between my teeth, I’m getting crowns to correct my front teeth to not have a space. In dental terms what did my dentist mean? thankyou.

Hi, I am really relieved that there is someone i can ask about my teeth. It is very kind of you. well after much trouble, i finally got a referal to Kings college at the age of 18.Im worried if i can get my teeth fixed on the nhs because i suffer bdd over my thangs arrg. I have Class 1 malocclusion complicated by the congenital absence of both upper lateral incisors.crowding of upper and lower arches and in occlusion class 1 buccal relationship. My adult canines ,next to my 2 front front teeth look like thangs and they ache, they said they would like fill in the gap? with restorative orthodontistry? do u reckon i could get this on the nhs? it really bothers me effcting the way i behave ;i hide my teeth ,cant smile,depressed, focus on them, if i told them this would this help? and i just left college and september i will do an art foundation course which is free .ooow please help.

My daughter has a removable brace on her back teeth which has made a noticable gap in her front teeth. she is finding this very stressful and the othodontist has not explained the process. i would appreciate it if you could explain why this has happended and more importantly if it will be permanent.

My front teeth are loose and have developed a gap im scared of loosing it please advice

I have been visiting birmingham dental hospital for ayear now my 2 front teeth are loose and have developed a gap my last visit was in march im now waiting to see the consultant there however one of the teeth is looser than ever i have lost bone i dont want dentures, im scared ill loose it before anythings done what do you suggest i never smile anymore or wear lipstick im only 46 and this is making me depressed,i know there are procedures to restore bone ect but these are costly any advice would be appreciated, everyone used to say i had lovely teeth

I have got several broken teeth which are level with my gums which need to be removed. Also on 3 of the front top teeth next to the gums i have a rough textured brown mark which i think is where the tooth has slowly broken away. Is there a cosmetic dentistry surgery that i can have other than dentures so i no longer have the gaps. Will the front of my teeth get browner if i had veneers? Look forward to your reply.
