Can you please advise me on the possibility of getting implants to avoid my cyst problems?

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010
Q.
I most appreciate your advice. I am 28 yrs. old and yesterday, was told by a facial surgeon that I have two large cysts above my front teeth, over 4 in total. I have already had one cyst removed above one side last year and now considering implants so this will not occur again. My 2 front teeth, in any case are crowns. The doctor recommended I try to “save my teeth” and just have a similar operation as before and in the possible event that it does reoccurs, get implants. What are your thoughts please? I have had all the scans and the cysts are very noticeable on view of the scan. If I were to have the implants, how long would this take to heal and could they be put in at the same time as the extractions are done? Many thanks for your help.,

What can I do if I am not happy with my bridge?

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010
Q.
I had my bridge done for front teeth i.e. 3 on right and 3 on left side, a few months back but I am not comfortable with it at all as 1) doesnt look beautiful 2) difficulty in speach Actually the natural teeth on the front were a bit bigger than the side ones but the dentist did not care for that and instead made all in one shape which doesnt look natural at all rather are not even visible when I talk with great difficulty.,

I had microabraision on my two front teeth about a year ago, but it didn’t work. I would appreciate you opinion on whether I should try again?

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010
Q.
I have previously (about a year ago) had microabraision on my two front teeth which have fluorosis (white stains). It reduced the appearance of one tooth but not the other. The dentist stopped the process as my teeth were getting too sensitive. I wanted to ask whether its worth trying again. I have spoken to a couple of dentists and both have given conflicting advice – one says it may work again and the other said if it didnt work on one tooth it means the stain is too deep in the enamel. The white stain looks brighter some days especially after i have brushed my teeth. I would appreciate your honest opinion,

I’ve had veneers for 20 years, but some keep falling off recently. Is the process faulty or is the porcelain contaminated?

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010
Q.
I have 6 veneers on my front top teeth. I had them placed over 20 years ago and have never had any problems. Last year one fell of and was successfully replaced. About a month later one of my large front ones fell off and has been replaced 3 times. Two others came off after that and they seem to have been successfully replaced. My question is can the porcelain from the one which keeps falling off be contaminated in some way or is it more likely to be either the bonding or the process which is at fault?,
