Hi my boyfriend has had his 2 front teeth knocked out playing sports. He is a full time mature student at present and has no savings so feels his only option affordable to him would be to get dentures. Is it true that he can apply for a hc2 certificate which would pay for NHS dental care? Would this cover anything towards dental implants? If not then do any dentists offer affordable and realistic (for that individual) treatment plans over a period of time, even when the treatment is complete? He’s only young and isn’t ready for dentures I feel, plus he would like it if the treatment could blend in naturally with the rest of his natural teeth. I think that a denture may appear bulky and will affect his speech. Can you please offer an advice? Thank you for your time.

Can I receive free dental implants on the NHS because of my cleft palate?
Monday, March 26th, 2012I am 21 and have a cleft lip and palate. Many of my teeth are missing and others are weak and in bad condition, when i was younger dental implants were discussed, is this something i would be entitled to on the nhs? I would also like to inquire about fixed dentures, as i dont want to start wearing adhesives so young and have my jaw reduce, i also don’t want to have to show future partners etc. Please help because i really am so upset at the lack of confidence this issue has ensued. I just want to know what the best free treatment is for someone in my situation before i go abroad and have second rate surgeries at the cheapest price possible. Thanks
Can I get treatment at dental schools?
Tuesday, March 1st, 2011Dear Sirs
I have been having a lot of problems with my teeth for a quite a few years now and the NHS Dentist dont seem very helpful at all.
I would like to find out if there are any dental surgeon out there that are looking for people to help them gaining experience.
A bit about myself 30 year old female single mother and my teeth are just breaking off I have had a tooth removed and another just broke in 3 pieces I have had about 3 root canals and loads of fillings.
Went to my dentist last week because I was having pain on my tooth and I had a chipped tooth now he fixed the tooth I was having problems with but refused to wok on the tooth that had been chipped and asked me to return in 3 months and have work done on this tooth again another tooth has broken and I said you know my tooth broke he replied by saying that it will need to be removed but they cant do it until 3 months time so I am left with one broken tooth and another tooth which has been broken and not much of it left which is causing me pain now and I dont think I can wait 3 months to have this problem dealt with.
I have very difficulties in eating as both sides of my teeth are very sensitive and it hurts quite often when eating even if its an apple.
Please can you help me if there are any dentist schools I could join as I can not afford to pay private dental care
Many thanks for your time in reading this.
