Q.
I haven’t been to the dentist in a few years. The last dentist I saw was rude and hurt me alot over a simple fissure seal, and ignored me when i told him so. This has made me really nervous about seeing another dentist since then. In the last few weeks I have noticed some of my teeth are slightly sensitive and I have enamel wearing away on three of my top teeth near the gum line. I have always looked after my teeth so I realise I have to go to a dentist soon but I don’t really trust dentists anymore and was wondering if you had any idea what could be causing my enamel wearing away? I have problems with my stomach and tonsils the last year which means now and again I get very ill and throw up alot. Its since then that I have had problems with my teeth and thought it might be because I can’t brush my teeth well during these “ill times” very well as my throat swells and the slightest pressure on my throat makes me sick. I would just like an idea of what it could be before I pluck up the courage to see a dentist again. Thanks,
