I have a gummy smile can i get them corrected?

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009
Q.
Hi, I have a 3mm overbite with a 2mm overjet. I have a gummy smile I want to correct. My teeth are straight for the most part but I wanted to know if lingual braces can correct the overbite and in hopes to correct my gummy smile if any. I was also wondering if my teeth are pretty straight and I have to do orthognathic surgery to correct this issue if I can have braces for 6 months and then have the surgery. I would prefer lingual though to give me less of a “horsey” smile.Thanks.

Hi I am 59 years of age, and have had protruding front

Saturday, September 5th, 2009
Q.
Hi I am 59 years of age, and have had protruding front teeth since the age of nine. I have always been afraid of dentists due to a very bad experience at the age of 4 years. My question is am I too old to have them straightened and can anything be done, should the above be correct? I have been tormented by my peers both in my adult and child hood. Although I have coped with the teasing since I was a child, with the knowledge that it is thier problem, it has always left me feeling insecure. I would dearly love to have them straightened if possible for myself. I await in anticipation for your answer. Yours sincerely.

I lost teeth in a accident and i want to have my smile back

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009
Q.
I had an accident and lost my 6 upper teeth and 6 lower teeth and had implants put in. I am 60 years old, blond, elegant modern and trim and would like to have a nice bright smile as I used to have. Here in Switzerland they are very conservative and as temporary teeth they have installed in my mouth some greenish teeth and I look like a smiling corpse! – my question is: what are the colours of teeth you would use in London for a bright smile if you do not have to adapt the colour to other teeth? Thank you so much for your kind answer.

Will braces help me diagnose TMJ and realign my teeth?

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009
Q.
Hi, I was just very recently diagnosed to have TMJ disorder whoch I knew I had for more than years now! You see it took me a long while before a realize the change that this TMJ is causing me. My lower and upper teeth wont meet anymore and it scares me. Anyway, I just had a dentist to check it about a week ago and told me I need braces and splints. Ive read many articles that this has no assuarance, though. But, if braces do somehow help, my family’s willing to risk 50,000 Philippine peso! What do you think of it? Braces for Tmj, i mean.

What kind of treatment is advicable to ingrown teeth?

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009
Q.
Hello i’m 17 years old and have two ingrown top teeth of my top four. I was wondering if veneers would be a possibility on the nhs or if you think i would be aligiable for veneers because the teeth are queit far back and veneers would have to stick onto the actual teeth? If not what dental alighning method would you suggest to strighten my teeth? would a normal nhs brace strighten my teeth? though i would much rather cover my teeth instead as alighning my teeth on the nhs will be lenghly. thankyou.
