Can you advise me concerning teeth whitening kits that can be bought online?

Monday, August 23rd, 2010
Q.
Hi Mark, I have used the home whitening kits purchased from a company in China, and I have been thoroughly happy with the results. However, whenever I read up on the internet for instance on the British Health Foundation pages on the issue, it states that basically unless your dentist has advised you on the treatment you should not have it. It also states that home kits purchased from companies whom are not listed as professional are not suitable. Please advise, as there are many websites selling the kits now.,

I havent visited a dentist for many years, and my teeth are crooked and discoloured. I don’t want to go through years of orthodontics. Are there more rapid options available?

Q.
Hello I havent visited a dentist for many years, I am 27 and am desperate to have somthing done about a crooked, discoloured smile. I went to a dentist approximatly 6 months ago but was disapointed at the response to my question regarding this. I (perhaps a little impaitiantly) would like somhing done that will allow me to smile with confidence again, but really dont want to have to undergo 2-3 years of invisible braces slowly straightening my teath. Is there any more rapid options available?? Many Thanks,

I am experiencing a tingling sensation in my teeth and I am wondering exactly what it is?

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010
Q.
a few of my top front teeth feel odd, sort of like a hot cold sensation with out the sharp pain. One tooth in particular (second to the right) feels as though it wriggles ever so slightly, but movement isn’t visible. Looking myself there is no dark decay between my teeth, or on the backs, no odd discoloration on these teeth at all in fact. I saw a previous question similar, and you said it was the tooth wriggling in the socket. I was just wondering if it’s makes a difference that I’m having this strange tingly sensation as well? I’m only 18 and don’t want to lose any of my teeth. I was told it may be my sinus’s acting up but I wanted to ask a professional.,

Cap is wobbly but dentist says it doesn’t require treatment. Is she right?

Friday, August 13th, 2010
Q.
Hi, i had a cap put in earlier this year to replace a front tooth. Now it has become wobbly and loose, i told my dentist about it and she took a look at it and said that a wobbly cap doesnt need any treatment. This sounds wrong to me so im here basically for a second opinion. Should a wobbly/loose front cap be left untreated until the inevitable happens and it falls out (probably at the worst possible time)?,

I had a large white filling placed and now I’m experiencing a lot of problems with that tooth, what should I do?

Friday, August 6th, 2010
Q.
Hi, im 26 and about a month ago i had a very lage white filling in one of my back lower molers as a small piece of the tooth cracked off due to decay. I have not been able to chew on it at all since but it has not been sensitive to hot and cold, or acheing. However, about a week ago it started to be painful and ache constantly. I have not been able to go without using pain killers during the day and have had a few sleepless nights. I went back to my dentist who adjusted the bite and also put a filling in my back tooth next to it as this had a small hole also. After the local wore off i was in pain again! The tooth can be very tender to touch and my whole jaw can ache at times. I had an emergency dental appointment at another dentist this morning and had an xray. There doesn’t seem to be an abcess or infection but the large fillling looks to have cracked or weakened a little near my gum line. My usual dentist said i will need root canal, however this dentist recommended a crown be fitted! Now i have to wait another week for an appointment with my usual dentist and i have no idea what to ask for! Can anyone recommend anything, im so lost with what to do from here and just what to not be in pain any longer! Thankyou!,
