Can you provide more insight on 6 months braces?

Dear Dr, I would be grateful if you would give me some advice. I am need t get braces to correct overcrowding on both the top and bottom teeth. I have had a consultation for 6 month braces. I am not sure whether to get them or to go for traditional braces. Have you had any dealings with 6 months braces? Would you recommend them?

Best solution to fix new bite?

Hello Dr Moore, I am 42 years old. I had my mouth half full with crowns by 20 yrs old. By 34, many were needing to be replaced. I begged the dentist to give me an upper plate. I made a good case and I got it. He made me 4 or 5 before I got a good fit. I still have to use a large amount of Fixodent daily to keep it in. Now, at 42 I have had most of my bottom teeth extracted and Im down to 5 in the front. THere are no other teeth/replacements on the bottom at all. The plan is to remove the 5th tooth and I will be left with 4 in the front, and get a partial bottom plate. And make a new top plate to fix the new bite. How will the teeth in the back stay down? I will need to glue down with fixodent? Will it somehow hook on to my front teeth? People Ive known with this, had hooks onto back teeth which I do not have. Please let me know. At this point I just want to be able to chew again.

Teeth with root canal seems to be broken, what are my options?

I HAVE A ROOT CANAL.AND I WAS EATING SOMETHING VERY CRUNCHY WHEN I BITE I FELT THAT MY TEETH MOVE. MY DENTIST TOLD ME THAT I NEED TO WAY UNTYL THE CROWN COME OUT TO SEE IF THE PORTION OF THE TEETH IS OK BECAUSE WHEN HE CHECKED HE FELT THAT THE TEETH IS BROKE TOO. Your advice to fix the problems going on in my mouth?

I have a lot of problems going on in my mouth. First off I have a gap becaue I am missing my two teeth on either side next to my canine. My canine’s have moved in the place where those two teeth should have been. Apperently I was not born with them. Near my canine tooth is my old baby canine tooth that never fell whch is loose on the left side. Then on my bottom right I had a tooth removed because it was cracked. What is your advice to fix my teeth?

Relatively large front teeth needs treatment

I have two large front teeth and absolutely detest them. its giving me really low self esteem and i would really like to do something about them. What are my options and honestly how much will this kind of treatment cost? Have some incomplete dental work and need private dentist

Hi Dr Moore,I would like to ask you what I can do in my situation.I start a full mouths restauration last year,I already pay 10 .000 pounds .all the extraction been done,manage to have 6 implants on my upper jaw as well; still have four off mynteeths on upper jaw who need crowns,on my lower jaw just four teeths on the front.Now my circumstances change,I m on benefit I have a Hc2 certificate wich is not seems to help me much.I am stuck in the midle with a temporarty bridge wich is not even done properly because my dentist not pay any interes any more.My dentist even sugest to have the implants extracted and have ba denture instead wich I think is ridiculos.Anyway what I want to ask is if I have any chance to finish the work with a private dentist and pay the diference for the abutments for example.

Have been told I would loose all my teeth

Good afternoon,I have just visited a dentist who says that I need root canal surgery,and prescribed antibiotics because of an abcess.I had an upper bridge 10 teeth fitted 5yrs ago, though not by him, and have been told that I am about to lose all of my teeth, plus the bridge. I am at my wits end. I will not contemplate dentures, and need advise on implants.Please help
