My Teeth Are Slightly Out Of Place, Are Braces My Only Option?

Thursday, January 31st, 2013
Q.

My front teeth at the top are out of place and the bottom teeth are squint but typical braces would take much to long and I would rather not have them for years.. is there any methods that I could get that would work faster to give me a nice smile.. And what are the prices for the procedures roughly? I did have a look through your site at all the different treatments But I am still unsure of what would be the best option for myself and I would really appreciate any advice or information you could provide on the topic.

Thank you.

If I only need some mild orthodontic work can I expect cheaper prices?

Wednesday, April 11th, 2012
Q.

I have a small gap between my two front teeth.
I have no other problems, my issue is merely cosmetic.
As the problem is only slight; would this decrease the price of the brace? I have no knowledge of the dentistry profession, thought I imagine smaller imperfections would be quicker to fix.
Is it worth looking abroad for cheaper dentistry? It’s something I would like to get done, but due to the nature of the imperfection, it doesn’t warrant spending a great deal.
Any information insofar as figures are concerned would be fantastic.
N.B: I only want to correct my teeth alignment, I have no desire for anything which is invasive to the tooth itself.

Is my orthodontist giving me the correct price for Invisalign braces?

Monday, March 5th, 2012
Q.

Hi,

After a few consultations with my dentist/orthodontist, he has recommended straightening my two front, upper teeth by either Invisalign or Lingual braces (I refuse to have ‘traintracks’ or even ceramic braces).

My lower teeth are fine, but he has suggested having Invisalign/Lingual braces on them as well, so that they still align with my top teeth – he said that it may cause problems down the line.

Is this normal? I have no reason to distrust him, it’s just he has now said the cost will be between £5000 – £6000!

Do you think I should get a second opinion on this? I want straight teeth, but I doubt very much whether I will be able to afford it.

Thanks.

Q.

Ive been a thumb sucker since birth and am now 25 and have a overbite and struggle to naturally close my mouth just feels uncomfortable. my face has changed slightly luckely my appearance isnt bad as some i have seen i was wondering if an avisalign would do me any good to help my jaw relax so i dint have to hold my mouth shut and be always aware not to relax my jaw as its not a good look. im not sure if fixed braces would be better for me or not? i have a phobia of dentist so less invasive is best but im willing to what needs to be done your advice would be very usefull and how much would these procedures cost?

Is £2000 too much for the treatment of mild orthodontic problems with Invisalign?

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011
Q.

Hello. I had a fixed metal brace on both bottom and top when I was 15, I had it on for 3 years. And I was very silly, and I didn’t keep up with wearing my retainer. this past year, my front tooth has started slipping back into an old position, it’s my right front tooth, it’s pushing so much aginst the front left tooth it’s causing pain and discomfort when eating, the tooth that is pushing on the other tooth has made it very wobbly, I can tell it’s moving at a drastic speed as theres a difference each week, this one tooth that has moved is starting to cause so much problems, its now looking like I have 2 wonky front teeth and I’m so upset about it. I know this is my own silly fault, but I really want to fix this.

I went for an appointment to see about having invasigln ( sp? ) done, he said to me it was a very mild case and would only cost me 2000 and the procedure would probably only take 7 weeks… so I was shocked at the price and with him saying it was barely noticable, I don’t know if he was trying to con me or not, I’m not sure but that seemed a lot of money to me.

I just want the best advice on what would be best for me, and some actual pricelists, I know you can’t give me an exact price but a rough idea would be great. I’m a single Mum and it’s something I feel needs to be done, it’s knocked my confidence a lot, and I’m willing to pay out if it’s not a silly ammount.

Kind regards, thanks for taking time to look at this and I hope you reply.

How much do braces cost?

Thursday, April 7th, 2011
Q.

hiya. iv been looking into getting braces for a while now but didnt realise how expensive they can be! im 23 years old, and my teeth are slightly crowded. im thinking if having braces fitted as iv noticed that my one tooth on one side has slowly started to move back, and i dont want this to happen to my other teeth. i was jus emailing to ask a rough price guide for braces that you offer? i no its difficult to say without having assessed my teeth, but i was jus looking for a rough price guide, including one for the 6 months smile i think it was.
thanks,

i’m 23 years old and am currently a supervisor in a busy restaurant. I haven’t had a dental check up in about 5 years. What are my otions on getting my teeth resolved for relatively low cost?
