I just received 3 implants last year. Cost was over 5000.00 and was performed by an oral surgeon. One implant failed and the oral surgeon ended up replacing it and threw in an extra implant at a reduced cost. (Total now is 4) Everything healed Great. My regular dentist has had the partial made by a lab. The partial is actually a bridge covering the 4 implants and a couple other missing teeth. He is charging almost a 1000.00 per tooth. Also charging 2400.00 for implant parts?? He called it precious metals? What would that be? He never mentioned that cost up front before doing this work. I feel I’m getting ripped off. The charges keep adding up.

My gums are receding day-by-day inturn increasing the length of my both front teeth and my gums bleed very frequently.since i dont have an insurance i never consulted a dentist.which treatment/surgery do you recommend for me(plz include the cost of the surgery) & which dental insurance is best for me???

Hello, I seem to have a rotting decay in my mouth and have about 8 teeth already removed with several more falling apart and in bits(half a tooth or one with a big hole in), it runs in the family, i am only 28. i had my baby last year and the dentist(nhs) treated me for some of the work as he said he could not get funding for all the work that i needed. I went about 5 times. i said i wanted them all ripped out and he said he will refer me to the dentist hospital where they can do it all for free as they are in-training but said it can take ages. i have phoned the dentist but they just say it takes a while. Is this the only way to get dentures without paying the earth, your advice is much appreciated, many thanks

Hi Andrew. Iam 27 years of age and have recenltly notice that my top two front teeth are starting to purtrude out! My teeth used to be perfect as I have had braces when I was 16. My only concern is these two teeth and was wondering how much would it cost to correct them? Im only talking a coulple of mm. And also how long would it take?

Dear Dr. My teeth are a not straight. my front upper teeth are not level they are a higher of the normal level and come out of my mouth. I can not even smile openly. I need help also i had an accident because which half of my upper front teeth are broken. Can I get treatment directly from NHS or from any doctor who works with NHS co-ordination for free or on minor cost as I am 25 and not earning enough. I deffinately need braces to boost my personality and confidance. Hope you will help me. Many Thanks

My dentist has referred me to a cosmetic dentist -but they are goiing to charge me £120 to assess my teeth. I dont know if I will be able to afford the price they are going to qoute me-why can t I have a free consultation then if its not possible I am not going to be out of pocket?
