I’m About To Have Most Of My Teeth Out Before I Get Married And I Want To Know If Anything Else Can Be Done Other Than Dentures Or Implants?

Monday, September 30th, 2013
Q.

I need most of my teeth removed as I can’t afford implants. Are there any other alternative options other than dentures or implants as I am getting married and my teeth are rotten and brown, I’m embarrassed to smile. I will have 6 remaining teeth, 2 at the top and 4 at the bottom. I have had mental health issues that prevented treatment earlier, I’m in a lot of pain and I need to feel confident and look good on my wedding day.  I get lots of comments and funny looks at the moment and it knocks my confidence back down, I am desperate to have a bit of confidence back and to control my mental health and I feel a nice, healthy smile would help me achieve that.

How Should I Rectify My Fluoride Staining?

Friday, June 7th, 2013
Q.

When I was young, I had nice white teeth but as I grew older and my adult teeth came through it began to turn brown! I’ve always taken care of my teeth and I don’t know why they turned brown, but I went to the doctor’s so I could find out what was going on and the doctor advised me that my mum had taken antibiotics whilst she was pregnant with me. I currently have 2 veneers and 4 crowns at the top but my bottom teeth still remains brown. I was just wondering if there was anything that I can do to solve my brown teeth problem!!! Please help as it’s getting a little bit too frustrating!! Kind Regards.

Would veneers work to hide brown stains on teeth?

Thursday, August 16th, 2012
Q.

hello doctor moore,  i need some advice from you as i am really suffering. i have brown stains on my bottom teeth and i’ve tried everything to get them away but with no success. i have a denture but only 2 teeth at the back of my teeth are clear from decay. and ive got 2 types of arthritis so my teeth look like they are fading in colour now. can you help me smile again? how much will it cost me? i am disabled due to my arthritis and house bound. i am 40 and really don’t feel like smiling cause of my teeth. i think veneers would be good for me as they would brighten my smile and make me feel happier. i don’t think i need any teeth replacing so can you advise me on the cost? thanks.

I have whitened my teeth using chlorine dioxide and now they are worse, what can I do?

Monday, March 14th, 2011
Q.

Hello, I recently had a Chlorine Dioxide tooth whitening treatment at BrightWhites. I’m really worried about the results. A few hours after the treatment, I noticed that my teeth had lost their lustre and had a chalky appearance. I called Brightwhites, they said that my teeth were just dehydrated, to drink lots of water and use the ‘remineralising’ product (Whitelasting Gel) they had given me. Admittedly, after using this product, my teeth do feel less rough and dry. Otherwise they feel dirty like I’ve just had a glass of Coke.

Six weeks later, there’s a slightly less chalky appearance, but I’m certain that my teeth are turning brown. To be honest, my teeth were naturally very white before I had the treatment, but I saw a special offer on Keynoir – being a moderate smoker I thought my teeth could be even whiter. I really didn’t need to have this done, and I’m sorry that I didn’t do some more research before sitting in that chair!

I’ve been reading some real horror stories about Chlorine Dioxide. Has there been permanent damage to my enamel? My teeth are definitely turning brown, so what should I do? Am I able to get them whitened back to their original colour? Please help.

I used to drink a lot of fizzy drinks and now my teeth are damaged, what can I do?

Q.

Dear Mark
I’m 14 years old and used to have an addiction to fizzy drinks (Coca Cola) also not that much effort put in to brushing my teeth. There yellow and starting to erode where the two teeth and the gum meet. Getting a bit brown only a small bit. What can be done to help my teeth. Maybe not Cosmic service something else to freshen them up. I’m only drinking water and milk, no sweets and brushing my teeth 3 times a day.
