How Long Does The All On 4 Take In The UK?

Monday, June 10th, 2013
Q.

Is there a all on 4 method where the teeth are fixed after implants are fitted and you don’t have to have teeth replaced after six months?
the reason for this is that I am in Australia at the moment and could not wait for six months. In Australia the dental surgeons will do the implant surgery and put the teeth in within a few days, complete.
But as we are coming to England for a visit we are trying to see if the cost are lower. Hope that you are able to inform me further and help me make the right decision.

Is it best to leave having a treatment if I am currently not feeling any pain?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Q.
I had root canal treatment over 10 years ago and discovered quite sometime later, when I had an abcess, that I had a broken file in my tooth canal. I was advised to have an apecectomy but decided not to have this done whilst I was experiencing no pain. I recently had a slight tingling sensation and was worried that this was going to get worse so went to my dentist, he took an x ray and said I had a cyst at the end of the broken file and has now suggested that I see a specialist and have it removed but after reading lots of information about this procedure and that it is not always successful I am worried, if I am not experiencing any further pain or discomfort am I better off not having this treatment carried out. I am due to go away to Australia within the next couple of months and would like your advice as to whether I need this done and if so would it do any harm to leave it until after my trip. I am at present awaiting an appointment for a referral from my present dentist. many thanks,,
