Should I worry about a bone fragment left after my tooth removal?

Q. Dr. Moore! Hope you doing fine, i have a tooth out last week and the day goes by i feel that thier is a small particle tooth left, so i went back to the dentist yesterday and she said that thiers nothing to worry because its a bone..So why the bone comes out? and is it safe even the bone comes out? anyway thank you so much and hope to hear from you soon..

A. It might be a small fragment of dead bone, this commonly comes to the surface when a tooth is removed and will be no problem

Bonnie Says :

I had 8 teeth pulled 15 days ago. I have a big fluid filled pocket on my gum now and soreness clear up my cheek. By my sinus, and a bone coming through my jaw on the other side. After 15 days I still have open holes from where each tooth was pulled.. I went back to the dentist yesterday they took x rays and I have to go back today to get my gums opened up and my jaws scraped and they are removing some jaw bone. What has this been caused from.
