Recently my top teeth have started pushing my bottom teeth onto a slant, what advice can you give?

Q.
Hi, I have noticed over the last month or two that my top teeth are now sitting over my bottom ones and have now started pushing the bottom teeth back on a slant. To make my teeth meet I feel I have to pull the top of my jaw in and the bottom part out, its uncomftable and the teeth are starting to look noticeably changed and smiling is not comftable or easy. Can you tell me what has happened.

Many Thanks.

A.
Did you have braces when you were younger? it may be orthodontic relapse if you did or it could be just continued growth causing your teeth to slowly move. Make sure it’s not gum disease and explore all your treatment options by attending your dentist as soon as you can for a consultation
