Nhs treatment for front tooth that was snapped in half

Q. My front tooth was snapped in half after a fall and my nhs dentist intended on fixing it with a crown but since doing a root treatment then allowing it to settle he is unsure my tooth is secure enough to take it. what options do i have now ?

A. The 2 options you hae is to go ahead and see how a crown survives.  If your dentist feels that the tooth is too weak to even attempt this then your other option is to have it removed and have a denture, bridge or implant placed.  Out of these options I would always favour an implant provided you were a good candidate for one.
