Need to have teeth extracted alternative anesthetic

Q. I have filling with my molar tooth that has been done years ago but unfortunately the tooth has been broken and causes me so much pain and it is only temporarily relieved by paracetamol for short period of time then the pain would hit again in few minutes.i really wanted this tooth be extracted but i am so anxious of the procedure since i am hypersensitive to anesthesia(lidocaine).is there anything you can suggest or recommend?hoping for your answer.thank u.

A. Hi many thanks for your enquiry, the first thing is the dentist could use a stonger anaesthetic, such as articaine, also you could decide to have the extraction done under IV sedation which will reduce the level of anxiousness so its more controllable. hope this is helpful. if you are local to myself i would be happy to see you for this treatment alternatively if you email back i will try to recommend someone local to yourself.
