My usual dentist fitted a cap on one of my two front teeth

Q. My usual dentist fitted a cap on one of my two front teeth. I didn’t feel it was fitted properly and I now have quite a large gap in the middle. Last time I went I asked her what she could do, and she suggested bridges??? I explained that it was too much money and couldn’t she just re-fit the cap or a new one. She said it had moved due to me having slight gum problems (which I dont) and when she tried to wobble another tooth realised that was not the case. Please can you let me have any suggestions as it caues me probs when I’m eating and I am very concious of how it looks.

A. As you are not happy with the end result the best advice I can give you is to talk to your dentist about your concerns.  I am unable to give a second opinion without having examined you.
