My top lip covers up my top teeth when I smile, what can I do about this?

Q. I recently got my braces off and i haven’t been unsatisfied with my teeth, but i have been extremely unsatisfied with my smile. i really don’t like my smile (and am VERY self concious about smiling and laughing – anything showing my smile) because my top lip covers so much of my top teeth, making my smile look weird. it almost looks like a tiny white strip when i smile and i think it really makes me look ugly and takes a lot away from my looks. i was curious if veneers would help fix the problem with my smile. do you think that if i got veneers to lengthen my teeth my lip and little toothed smile problem will be fixed and that when i smile you will see a lot of teeth? thanks for your help, Bella,
A. I often move teeth into the correct position as you have had done. Following this the next stage is to veneer the teeth to improve the smile if the smile is still not what the patient wants. It sounds as though you would benefit greatly from veneers. Please come and see me at my practice – contact my receptionist for a free consultation on 01727854429
