My teeth have now become overcrowded and need re-aligning could veneer be a option?

Q. I had a brace when I was 13 but my teeth have now become overcrowded and need re-aligning as a result of my wisdom teeth coming through. I recently went to an orthodontist to think about getting a brace and he’s told me that I have short roots and he wouldn’t recommend braces for me. I’d like to know any other options that I have. Are braces totally out of the question? Could I have veneers? Many thanks in advance.

A. Veneers are definitley an option but usually entail drilling down the teeth. If the roots have shortened then it can cause problems with potential loosening of the teeth
