My teeth has broken off and rotted down causing pain can you pls advice
Q. I have a fear of dentists and have avoided going for years, alot of my teeth have now broken off or rotted down causing extreme pain, one of my teeth at the back has completely snapped off leaving the root in and now my gum is starting to close around it i think it may be infected or maybe an abcess as my face has got swollen and i cant even bite anymore. I know i should be going to the dentist but im so scared and embarrassed that i’ve let it get so bad, i cant sleep cant eat and now i’ve started burning up really bad so im really scared, i cant even tell my partner cos im so ashamed of my teeth Please can you give me advice on what i can do before this gets any worse, Thank You
A.
You are not alone with being scared in coming to the dentist. Having pain is not a good sign and its time to see a dental professional.
Please rememeber that all dental practitioners are are professionals and would really like to help you get back on the right track.
The first step is to find someone you feel comfortable with, speak to friends or work colleagues and see if they can recommend someone, seach on the internet to view some of the clinics that appeal to you. Call a couple of those practices and I am sure you will find that they will be very respectful and very happy to help you.
If you are scared there are options to make your treatment as comfortable as possible such a sedation – which will make you very relaxed and not remember any of the treatment.
My advice is go as soon as you can so it doesnt get worse and there is always a solution. Be brave and you will soon have that great smile you dream about – get that confidence back.

I sympathize. I have bad teeth and am afraid to go to. But it definitely sounds like u have an infection and that could turn deadly. Truth b told though. There is nothing a dentist can immediately do til the infection is gone. U need to go to a dooctor or emergency room and get on antibiotics. And I u can still swallow then eat pieces or raw garlic u don’t have to chew. Just break it small enough to swallow like a pill. They r like a natural antibiotic though not as good as real ones so definitly go to the hospital This infection can infect ur brain and end result can cause meningitis or death. So don’t wait around and next time u start to get a tooth ache or swelling. Immediately start taking garlic. Wash ur mouth out with iodized salt water and if possible pop and drain any absess sores in ur mouth. And try to get he courage to go to the dentist as I am trying. Good luck and I hope this helps.
My 4 teeth are bit forward and my 1 teeth is half broken so what i suppose to do to make them proper please give me good advise

Hi, I have some overcrowding of my teeth. My top left canine tooth protrudes from the out gum, so is completely misaligned. I have a slight gap craeted behind it due to wearing a brace when I was a teen. It was removeable, soI didnt wear it due to suffering mouth ulcers quite severley. I really would like to get this fixed, Im now 33 but I really do not want to go down the fixed brace route. Please can you advise best course of action, consultation fees etc? Many Thanks
