My teeth are crooked, what can i do to straighten them?

Q.
I am now 37 and all through my life and two pregnancies my dentist said I had very healthy teeth. Now I have 6 very crooked teeth on the bottom and they cross over alot. I am very concerned about it and try not too show them so when I smile I just raise the corners of my mouth. Also my front two teeth have always been fab but now they are looking transparent and have visible lines that I notice when I look in the mirror. My dentist said it was due to my age! Please help and tell me what can be done to straighten my crooked teeth. They cross over by nearly a third in 1 or 2 places so I think braces is out of the question.

You’d be surprised what can be achieved with braces. i would seek advice from a private orthodontist who see’s adults to see what they can do for you.You might need some alignment followed by veneers. The transparency of the upper teeth is probably due to wear of the incisors so you may need to consider veneers here too
