My receeding gums are revealing tooth under veneers, what should I do?

Q.
approx ten years ago i had veneers on my six upper front teeth. my gums have now receded about 2-3mm exposing the underlying tooth which is lightly stained. how can i fix this?
A.
You can’t change the gum position unless you’re suitable for surgery. See your Hygienist in case its the way you are brushing your teeth

Amanda Says :

Should the veneer sit right into the gum line or should there be a slight gap?

Jacquelyn Says :

It really depends on how your veneer was designed some sit on the gum line, some under and some above.
