My gums are receding and I’m getting worried because my teeth are being pushed out of alignment. What could this be?
Q. Since my wisdom teeth at the bottom have come through, i have noticed that my gums are starting to recede especially in front and behind my front four teeth but my teeth are being pushed out of alignment what could this be, my dentist tells me there is nothing to worry about but the recession is getting worse.,
A. Its probably nothing to do with the wisdom teeth but late growth of the mandible, which is normal. If your gums worry you it might be worth getting a second opinoin from a gum specialist (periodontist)
