My dog chipped my tooth, what should I do?

Q.
This is a weird question, but my dog likes to lick peoples faces, and today he jumped up on my lap when I was watching a movie and laughing and clinked his tooth against my front tooth. Not the 2 front teeth, but the tooth right beside those teeth on my left, and now I feel like there’s a small dip. It’s something I see and I feel, but it isn’t too notieable unless I point it out. Is there any way for this sort of thing to be corrected without opting for veneers or a cap? Or if it’s small enough to not be too obvious or cause issues should I just live with it? Thanks.

It sounds like cosmetic dental bonding could be the answer for you. Sometimes, as an alternative, the tooth can be polished to remove the dip if it is very small. Go for a consultation with your local cosmetic dentist to find out what is best for you.
