My dentist tells me I need RCT in my upper front tooth

Q. My new dentist tells me I need RCT in my upper front tooth which is holding my bridge and is supposedly a dead tooth He tells me I have an abscess , no pain experienced.I am petrified the bridged tooth might fracture during RCT and there is no other tooth to which thebridge can be attached as the other front upper tooth is itself being held in place by another bridge. Pse is there any other treatment and is it correct to do RCT on a dead tooth holding a bridge?

A. This is definatley the right treatment to do and with careful technique the bridge should be Ok
