My dentist insists amalgam fillings are better than white fillings, what do you think?
Q. I would like to find out more about ‘white fillings’. My dentist does not recomend these and insists that amalgam metal colour fillings are much better.,
A. White fillings are now very strong if the tooth needs a very large filling porcelain onlays are better. I haven’t used amalgam in many years but it is also a very good material.
