My dental plate has snapped, what can I do about this?
Q. After having had a dental plate for two front teeth for over ten years I decided to have it replaced on the NHS by my dentist because it had become too loose. I duly had one fitted and six months down the line it has snapped…I was eating a chicken sandwich! As you will appreciate I’m not very happy about this as this treatment, even on the NHS is expensive. Will I have to fork out all over again even though its only lasted such a short amount of time?,
A. You will have to talk it through with your dentist as there are no real guarantees on NHS work
