My crown snapped off when eating and dentist now says I need a new emax crown and also root canal treatment. Is this correct?
Q. hi,my crown snapped off while i was eating some food.i went to dentist,who said i would need a new crown (emax crown) a fibre post and core and also root canal treatment.at a cost of £667.would this be right.thought it would only cost about £2/300.this is for 1 tooth.and do i need root treatment.ive never had any kind of pain in this tooth.,

Dear Enquirer, It is impossible for me to give any advice on this matter as I am not privy to your full records, Xrays etc. Please speak to your dentist to ask further why you need a root treatment and he/she will be happy to explain your treatment. The fees seem to be correct for this type of treatment. Hope this helps, Sunita
