My crown has moved, do i need to get it replaced?
Q.
HI Dr Solanki,
HI Dr Solanki,
I got a crown fitted over 10 years ago to cover over a crooked tooth. It actually looked quite natural and i was happy with it. Unfortunately a few months ago it seems to have moved slightly towards the left, which has left a slight gap between that and my front tooth. This I don’t like and would like it fixed. Would i need to get a whole new crown or could a dentist fill that gap naturally somehow?
Many thanks.
A.
You would need to have the crown replaced to get the best aesthetic results.
