My crown and screw fell out today after a year. What would you recommend?

Q. in july 2009 i had a crown fitted on upper number 5 left tooth. had root canal treatment and a screw put in to which crown was cemented. all done on nhs over 3 visits for £198. today eating a bagel (so nothing hard!) the crown and screw has fell out. what would you recommend?,
A. You may be able to get the post crown re-cemented back in as long as there is no damage to the root. Your only other alternatives are to have the root removed and have a bridge or dental Implant fitted in its space.
