Mother with Parkinson’s Disease met with an accident on her drive home after a filling procedure

Q. My 82 year old mother with parkinsons had work done on her teeth – fillings etc and when she drove home afterwards she was involved in an accident. Could this at all be related to the dentistry procedures. Thank you regards

A. Only if she had had oral or intravenous sedation.  Local anaesthetic adn standard dental treatment does not stop you being able to drive a car.
