Just recently they noticed that there was a gap where the crown meets the gum line
Q. I had to get a bridge about two years ago and just recently they noticed that there was a gap where the crown meets the gum line on #9 (bridge is from 9-11)and they told me to see a endodontist before I see them cause she wants to make sure I don’t need a root canl before she replaces my bridge, which I can understand! Today I decided to call my dentist to make shure I wouldn’t be charged for the bridge work considering it was not my fault and all and now the doctor is talking about just filling in the gap with filling material! I don’t know if they are just making me take that route cause they don’t want to front a new bridge or what! I also have a five year warranty so they have to correct it right? I’m so confused! I would rather just get a new bridge cause I know from being a dental assistant that filling material doesn’t always stay put for too long and especially on a crown! I need your expert opinion please!!!! Thanks 🙂
