Is tooth pain because of lack of calcium – what can be done?

Q. Dear Dr. Patel, I have just discovered that the right front teeth has a scrarch exactely in the middle the teeth from the gum to the a 3 quarter. I have been told its because of the lack of calcium in my teeth. But im quite worried because sometimes I feel a little pain in the teeth specially while/ after exercising. please advice.,
A. You need to get the tooth examined if you have had pain, if the cosmetic appearance bothers you you can have the defected bit covered over with a white filling or porcelain veneer.
