Is there something to fill a gap while the adult tooth comes?

Q. My daughter who is 15 has had braces which were taken off recently. There is a history of let teeth in the family. She had a milk canine removed to encourage the appearance of the new one but so far, no show. She is now wearing a clear retainer with an artificial tooth in it, but has to remove it to eat which she is self conscious about. I fear the tooth may not show for a long time. Is there ever anything temporary that you can do with a plate, or something attached to braces on the inside of the teeth to fill the gap until the tooth comes? Do you have a view on the process of attaching a chain to the adult tooth and pulling it down?

A. Hello, often exposure of the buried tooth and a brace to pull it down is your only option Temporisation is very difficult in these cases but a plastic tooth could be fitted to the fixed brace to improve the appearance in this area let me know if I can be of any further assistance
