Vitiligio is a skin condition thatcauses pale, white patches to deveop on the skin due to a lck of melanin. Melanin is the dye-like substance that gives skin it’s colour and protects from the sun’s UV rays. If you have this condition, then it is very important to use SPF of 30+

As far as I’m aware, there is no known cure- but treatment is available to improve the skin’s appearance.
Your GP will initially assess you condition and prescribe steriod creams. This usually prevents the patches from spreading and improves skin tone.
After the course has finished and still no improvement, then it may be worth asking to be referred to a dermatologist who can offer further options. Hope this has helped.
