Is there a difference in quality between a porcelain crown and a metal crown?
Q. Hi I need crowns on my two back molars, the difference in price is a lot – £600. My question is, is there a difference in quality or durability other than appearance? For the metal crown will more of the tooth have to be drilled away? thanks,
A. A metal crown should last as long as a porcelain crown so the main difference is the appearance

Plz tell me if fixed metal crown it will not change it colour, as i have right now resin/Plastic crown which is now bad off-white. One more thing metal crown means it has a metal colour or normal white colour, coz i have to crown my front teeth. Thanks
