Is it possible to replace silver crowns with porcelain ones?

Q.
i need 4 crowns, are silver crowns that terrible to use…and if i chose silver…can it be removed and replaced to porcelain, later in the future or are they permanent.
thank you,
A.
You can replace any type of crown with another type at any time, so your silver crowns can be replaced with porcelain crowns in the future. It would take2 appointments to do this.

hi. I had a crown replaced recently on one of my back molars. The previouscrown used to cover the entire tooth, however, the new one leaves a littlebit of tooth visible close to the gum line. Is this normal? it’s a metal fused on porcelain crown. thanks,

My son has many silver teeth. I feel he may have been a victim of the medicaid dentist trying to get money by performing unnecessary procedures. I live in dallas. Is there a place near by that can relace his stainless silver teeth with something more natural. Please help.
