is it possible to just go into the clinic and ask for him to recommend me something?

Q. Hello Doctor 🙂 I have really bad teeth which is seriously affecting my confidence and I’m finally ready to do something about it, having been reassured by some of the advice given by you & other experts here. I am slightly worried about a couple of things, though. Firstly, is it possible to just go into the clinic and ask for him to recommend me something? Or do I have to state precisely what I want? Secondly, do I have to have all veneers fitted at once? Or can I have a couple done at each time (to spread the cost)? Thank you sooo much for all your help & I eagerly anticipate your response.

A. Hi there, Many people who come to see me are not always sure about what they need. I often find out the patient’s concerns and talk through how I can improve the overall appearance of their smile and restore function in the mouth. The cosmetic dentist that you choose to see, will recommend what they can do to improve any areas of concern. You don’t necessarily have to research anything before hand- as most treatments will be explained and discussed in your consultation.
Many practices also offer different payment methods and ways of finance the treatment- so you can pay monthly etc. Hope this has helped.
