Is it possible to get teeth implants on the NHS?

Q.
hi. i’m 17 and i have gum disease, i used to smoke but have now quit, not long ago. my teeth are very wobbly and i’m thinking that they will have to be taken out or they will fall out. i’m very worried as i am scared to be 18 and toothless. i was wondering if i would be about to get teeth implants on the nhs? as my mum is a single part-time worker, and i couldn’t possibly afford it. i live in blackpool. please reply asap. many thanks.

I very pleased to hear that you stop smoking. That is one step in the right direction. I would advise you to contact your nearest NHS Dentist and see if you can get an appointment with a Periodontist. If not, you can always contact your nearest Dental School and see if any of there students need patients for there training.
