Is it possible to fix the gaps in my teeth?

Q.
Hello I wondered if you could give me some advice. I have gaps between every one of my teeth. Is this considered unattractive? and should I get it fixed? I’m 20 years old and worried I have left it too late to fix it, I don’t really want to have braces as an adult 🙁 and also worry about the cost. My teeth have never really bothered me but when I smile on pictures they look horrible. Other than the gaps they are straight though.

Hello and thanks for your questions

There are several ways to make gaps between teeth more aesthetic. This can be an orthodontic correction or by adding something on to the teeth to make the gaps close.

The correct choice for you would be assessed after seeing you in person for an examination and measuring various factors. If the gaps are there because the teeth are too small in size from the ideal then using dental bonding or some kind of veneers may be appropriate.

If the teeth are an ideal size and shape then orhtodontics may be the way to go

I hope that helps and my advice would be to now see an experienced cosmetic dentist local to you for the next step

Best wishes
