Q. hi i had a burried tooth in the roof of my mouth which has been exposed. i will be getting a brace in the new year. at the moment i have silver bands on my teeth and some sort of retainter at the roof or my mouth clued to my 2 top teeth. the bands are fine but my tongue keeps rubbing of the metal prongs causing 1 large ulcer. my tongue hits off of it when i swallow. i have been back to the dental hospital and i have had it filled to try and smooth it. is it normal for my tongue to be bleeding and very painful?,
