I’m seventeen and need braces. However, I don’t want them for a long time. Are there alternatives?

Q.
I am 17 and still on the NHS i need braces but i dont want to have them for years just short term how can i go around this?
A.
Orthodontic treatment can range from 12 weeks up to 36 months of wearing the appliance. There are lots of options available depending on individual needs. Unfortunately all the cosmetic braces are not avialable of the Nhs.

I have never really liked at all my front upper teeth. I have quite a few teeth missing on the left hand side of my mouth from the center I have the lateral incisor missing mainly, and also my teeth are quite gappy too. LastAugust I had a franectomy so that I could have white fillings put over my teeth to fill up the gaps, and to make the canine tooth more like a lateralincisor. I did look in to having braces when I was younger and then also Invisalign when I had the op. I’ve seen how much more advanced it is now sowas just wondering if you could send me some information on prices.
