Im getting a root canal done, but the dentist is breaking it up in different appointments. ive been reading that i was suppose to get a temp filling or somthing for between visits but he didnt. also i having small shocking feelings sometimes since my first vist. i dont think he got all the nerves out. i dont know. im totally confused. hes a older man too. and seems to do things the old way. i just want to know if im on the right track or should i go else where?

Hi many thanks for your enquiry, my view of root canal treatment is that although i am very upto date on the most omdern techniques on root canal treatment i still would not attempt this treatment. i do feel if you want the best sucess you should seek out a specialist or at least a dentist that has limited there practice to purely root canal treatment as they have so much more experiance in produce a good result and do the work to gold standard. if you are local to myself i can recommend my endodontist Dr Gary Zolty. his website is www.garyzolty.com. hope this is helpful.
