Im a mum of 2 children and what flouride levels i should be looking for in their toothpaste

Q. Hi I am a mum of 2 young children (one 4 years and one 11 months) and am confused about what flouride levels I should be looking for in their toothpaste. The british dental assos website says that children under 3 should be using a toothpaste with 1000ppm of flouride and the over 3 one with between 1350 and 1500ppm however I noticed that the Colgate Smiles product only has 500ppm and other websites say to use a non-flouride product. HELP

A. I think the Colgate Smiles one will be sufficient for both kids until they are 7-8 years old. Then switch to one with a higher flouride content. Don’t forget that the sugar intake is the most important thing regarding dental decay at this early stage of a childs life
