I was hit in the mouth with a cricket bat which damages my front teeth

Q. When I was a child I was hit in the mouth with a cricket bat which damaged one of my front teeth, I was told as a child that eventually I would loose the tooth as it will not survive due to the nerve being damaged. Over the years it has become yellow in colour, it is noe loose but I am now very conscious of its appearance, what treatment could I have to correct its appearance?

A. You could have a crown or veneers placed on the tooth.
A crown would be better because it prevent fracture of the tooth.
Root canal treatment will cause a tooth to become more brittle and it is more likely to break.
A crown will hide the underlying colour of the tooth. You can even ask to go the laboratory that makes the crown so that the colour and characteristics match exactly.
Kind Regards
